I am a PhD student in the Marketing and Logistics department at the University of Tennessee.  I am concentrating in logistics with a minor in marketing, with a general focus in global supply chain management.

My educational background includes a Bachelors degree in business as well as an MBA, both from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.  My Bachelors degree specialized in marketing and international business with a minor in Spanish and I would like to use this background to add an international focus to my research.

Prior to beginning the doctoral program at the University of Tennessee, I worked as a buyer for Pressure Connections Corp in Columbus Ohio for two years.  During my graduate work at BGSU, I was given the opportunity to teach an international business class as an adjunct instructor. I also completed an international marketing internship in Costa Rica with Sauder Furniture.  It is this combination of experience and educational background that led me to an interest in research and teaching in the field of logistics.

My current research interests include environmental supply chain management and the impact on international sourcing and procurement, supplier management, and the impact of culture on global supply chain relationships.
